What fun! We've been learning all about fire safety and yesterday we had a great trip to the fire station. We learned all about how to stay in one spot, yell for help, and tug on the firefighter if we're ever trapped by a fire. We practiced stop, drop, and roll; as well as, getting out and staying out if there is a fire. We also talked about practicing fire drills at home with our family and designating a safe meeting spot if we got separated from our family. It was a beautiful day to walk and a great field trip. Some kids said that it was "the longest walk they ever took in their lives." Too funny! I hope they weren't too tired out. Until next time - enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
