What an eventful November we had! We learned about people from long ago, including the Pilgrims and their long journey to America. It was also fun imagining ourselves at that first Thanksgiving and how much fun we would have had, but how tired we would have been after a three day celebration! We were also busy practicing our numbers, letters, sounds, basic addition and subtraction, sight words, and more. Plus, we learned some November poems and songs and made lots of art projects to help us celebrate the holiday. We especially enjoyed all the family project turkeys that were on display. So many creative ideas! We added to our month long learning with a fabulous visit from author and illustrator David LaRochelle. He was both entertaining and amazing! Finally, we capped off our study of Goods and Services with a special "giving" project in the spirit of the season of "Thanks" "Giving" - Project Linus blankets! They turned out beautifully and we had a blast making them. Enjoy the slide show below.
