What a fantastic, fun-filled, busy, exhausting week! We had some awesome lessons on magnets and heat and light from two student teachers. Then, we took it a step further and used two different heat sources (the power of the sun in a homemade shoebox oven and the power of the microwave) to make s'mores! Yum! After that, we used Play-doh and toothpicks to create 2-D and 3-D shapes. We had so much fun and we may even have some future inventors and architects in our midst! We even managed to sneak in some bunny art and map study. I'll bet some friends can name some of the following they live in: the city, state, country, and continent. They may even be able to find it on a map! Some friends may even be able to tell you all seven continents. Plus, we've been learning even more about the savannah in Africa this week. So much to learn and do and so little time! Until next time, enjoy exploring the world around you!
