Then, we kicked off March with a tribute to Dr. Seuss, which included a variety of activities - including making and eating green eggs and ham! It was delicious! We have some aspiring cooks in kindergarten.
We also enjoyed a story by our "mystery" reader - Ross Baggenstoss. If anyone is interested in being a mystery reader - just contact Mrs. Manthe.
Plus, we had a visit from some mischievous leprechauns and have been engaging in a variety of St. Patrick's Day art, math, and reading activities.
Next up, a visit from our Jr. Achievement presenters for the next 5 weeks, as we learn about money, goods and services, trading, earning, and saving. Plus, we'll study dental health and have a visit from a dental hygienist. We'll round off the month with a field trip to the Sugar Shack at St. John's to learn about making maple syrup and our early out day will bring a round of Friday Flurry Activities to partake in. Kindergarten is so busy and so fun! We can't wait to see what spring will bring! Until then, stay warm and think spring!
