I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. It was so great to see so many Special People engaged with my kinders! I can't believe the creative talent that they all shared and how different each house turned out despite everyone having the same materials! Enjoy the slideshow! I can't believe that it's already the 19th of November!! This month has been crazy busy with a visit from Sergeant Michael Noll for Veteran's Day, administering the First Trimester Assessments, and today: Project Linus blankets! Mix in a bunch of learning and turkey songs and poems and it just gets crazier! (But fun!) Thank you to all who sent in fleece, and special "Thanks" to Jodie Traut and our student teacher, Abby Meagher, for all their help!! Our kindergarteners got a real treat when the 6th graders came over and shared their original stories with them. It was inspiring to see the works these young authors created and the stories were amazing! The kindergarteners have gone crazy for puzzles! Below you can see how much fun they have working together putting them together! We are so lucky to live in a school district that still lets us celebrate holidays and Halloween just happens to be one of my favorite. We had so much fun today decorating pumpkins, frosting cookies, trying pumpkin seeds, making a glow-stick ghost, playing bingo, playing Halloween games in gym, singing Halloween songs and poems, and so much more! Check out the pictures if you don't believe me! Special thanks to Norah's mom, Kendra, for organizing the party, and to Chrissy, Jason's mom, and Nancy, Cole's grandma, for helping out! Fun was had by All! What a fantastic day! It was a sunny, crisp fall morning when we headed to the Albany Fire Department for an amazing tour and lots of learning about Fire Safety! Special Thanks to our awesome volunteers for chaperoning and to the volunteer firefighters of Albany for a great day and fun prizes! |
