The Ides of March are here and what a strange month it has been - rainy, windy, warm, cold, quiet, snowy, blowy, sunny, tornado filled, and more. The month is flying by and we have been busy. Mr. Johnson, our superintendent, came to read to us and we also had a visit from an para who brought her hedgehog in to say "Hello". We have been learning about different habitats and nutrition along with our other daily lessons. I hope everyone is reading like crazy and learning their sight words well. This will make math, science, writing, and reading much easier and more enjoyable. It is so exciting to see my students' faces as they realized that they are readers! Besides reading, there are many more activities yet to come and below you will see our Leprechauns and a short writing about where we would hide gold if we were leprechauns. There were some really great ideas! As always, enjoy the moments and stay warm!
